In line with the concept of Open Innovation, Powergear offers R&D services on collaborative basis customer needs in Energy, Smart grid, Embedded Systems, MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) and other projects of mutual interest. This involves industry and academic experts in concept brainstorming, technical analysis, materials, lab-scale experimentation, prototype build/test and costing towards eventual commercialization.

Powergear in-house R&D unit has been recognized by DSIR (Department of Scientific and Industrial Research), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
