In Bangalore Powergear has two independent shops measuring 72346 sqft and 6000 sqft. The main plant has modern manufacturing facilities, and is used mainly for the manufacture of GTE's, GAC's, Isolated phase busducts and instrument transformers.

The manufacturing infrastructure is adequate for inhouse processing of all stages and has sufficient machinery and handling facilities. Excellent welding systems and procedures are in place with all welders and procedures fully qualified as per ASME standards

 
Facilities for thorough inspection and routine testing are available inhouse.

The vicinity of the Premiere national institute CPRI with facilities to conduct short circuit, impulse and temperature rise tests, adds to the locational advantage.
